PAINKILLER

Song: Painkiller

Artist: TED NUGENT

This month's post I want to remember one of the all-time symbols of Hard Rock, Ted Nugent.

When he delivered his album in 1986, I felt the unstoppable need to buy it. And I can tell, how gorgeous and mind-blowing it seemed to me.

Nugent is representative of southern rock, and he does it with new elements that make him utterly different.

Here I bring you one song from a comprehensive record, where Ted Nugent achieves a modern approach full of small nuances close to funk. A bunch of good and rather hot songs sprinkled with tearing guitar riffs.

For me, in the middle of the 80's, it meant a breath of fresh air, a mind-opener.

I have picked the last song of the album, where he also stands out for his impeccable way of singing.

A deep voice, plenty of layers suggesting painkiller.

Take this pill in the form of frenetic rock to cool down the situation when it’s burning as hell!
