This month's post is the first part of my homage to Black Sabbath, the band founded by the glorious guitar player Tony Iommi and the eternal Ozzy Osbourne as vocalist.

The band’s first albums date back to the early 70s, with Ozzy as the singer. 

In those days you could still hear an influence of psychedelia in their music, but whatever the style of song they recorded, it was always wrapped in a sombre atmosphere that would eventually lead to the Doom Metal style we know today. 

And this is the greatness of this first step in the life of Black Sabbath. They were the seed of Heavy Metal, and they have remained one of the most influential bands ever. 

Little did I know in the 80s, when I started listening to their albums recorded back when I was just a newborn in the 70s, that that handful of great hard rock songs would become part of rock history and of a legend. 

Here I bring you a lesser-known song, full of strength and darkness, yet carrying a message of love.

Song: You Can't Kill Rock and Roll Artist: OZZY OSBOURNE This month I want to pay my respects to a real artist who passed away last month. Ozzy Osbourne will always be part of the history of Heavy Metal as one of the major names in the genre. And I'm not going to speak about him beyond his records and musical performance.
