Here we go with a song which is a total blast! But is there by chance any Judas Priest's song  that  isn't?

As I see it Judas Priest embodies the genuine Heavy Metal sound. They've got the rhythm and a powerful punch.

They unleashed the fury of a complete generation of rockers since the dawning of the genre, shaping a new wave based on 70's hard rock.

The brilliance of their leader and singer, Rob Halford, not only is reflected in the musical style of the band  but he also shook aesthetics by putting black leather and studs in the mainstream.

Every song of Judas Priest is a ride on a speeding motorcycle. A fast engine fitted with a turbo. Guitars and screams sometimes fueled by sharp keyboards.

I like to think that I lived that blast and that it is still echoing.

BATTLE TO THE LAST

Song: Battle To The Last Artist: DARKNESS This month I want to dust off the music of Darkness .  Some may say there are many bands with that name, but for me, there's only one Darkness. For those who are not familiar with the band, they became, in the late 80s, representative of what we could now call the purest old-school German Thrash style .  Their first two albums are cult items which I was lucky enough to have in my hands. Their records feature underground-drawn artwork that matches their vision of a world in chaos.  What I like most about this band is their raw sound. Listening to their albums is like being at a live concert. Ozzy Osbourne will always be part of the history of Heavy Metal as one of the major names in the genre. And I'm not going to speak about him beyond his records and musical performance.
