TO BE A MAN

Song: To Be a Man

Artist: Boston

Sometimes, one think that we are predestined to some of the main things to happen in our life.

My story with Boston (the hard rock band) started when I was 17 and I had a picture of the band on my high-school folder and my above neighbourg asked me in the lift... Do like Boston?

To be frank, I had never had the oportunity to listen to any of their songs but I had loved that photo and the aesthetic of the band. They looked cool. Mainly the massive long hair of the drummer.

My beloved neighbour lend me the first three LP's of the band and told me ... you know what, they built their own pedals and electronic widgets to produce their music effects.

Till that moment on, those albums would become my fellow traveller. Somehow a priceless treasure during my university time perhaps since Boston both the band and the city are so connected to university life and hence to youth's life.

Its music conveys a sense of freedom, sincerity, love and lust for life. Good vibes.

Some of their songs are now squeezed on the radio when other hidden gems still remain unknown.

It is a tough task to pick and choose one single song among these three albums considering that there were times I listen to them in a row.

I bring you a perfect ballad found in their third disc called Third Stage.

Ready for your feelings to take off?
