SLEEPING (IN THE FIRE)

Song: Sleeping (In The Fire)

Artist: W.A.S.P

This month's post is about a band born in the 80s among other American glam-metal groups. However, they somehow knew the path towards fame had to be counter to mainstream. It had to be anti-glam, a sort of electric circus of horror and perversion.

Blackie Lawless' abrasive voice and distinctive touch make them unmistakable and a safe bet no matter which song you randomly pick.

They hit the jackpot with their first album, which was a declaration of intentions. They wanted to be somebody, and thus they became an unstoppable rocket.

The song I bring is an intense and burning ballad that triggers a kind of sinful passion. A song always difficult to take out of one's head.

Let yourself go into ecstasies over W.A.S.P.'s fire and lust for pleasure.
